The British Telecom Marquis Telephone System
The British Telecom Marquis telephone system was introduced by BT in the early eighties. The mark 1 version was a 6 line 12 extension system and was updated by the mk 2 which had a maximum configuration of 6 line 16 extensions. The mk1 and mk2 handsets are interchangeable throughout the range. The system cannot support 2 wire (SLTs) devices and is not able to support ISDN.
