Connection of SLTs (Single Line Telephones)

SLTs are single line telephones. This is technical gobbledy gook for an ordinary telephone. You must use a telephone that has a recall button that is compatible for time break recall in order to transfer calls. Other than that you can use most telephones on the Panasonic A series including cordless. You can only connect SLTs if you have the appropriate card fitted in the Central Control Unit. There are two types, one which has four SLT capacity and a 2 + 2 card which gives you two Panasonic proprietary telephones and two SLTs. The SLT card is always connected to the last expansion slot of the CCU. SLTs work OK on the A Series but they are slow when dialing out via the exchange lines.

Need to change the time?

The time must be changed from extension 10. So from extension 10, with the handset down, press the on/off key, followed by * and 5

Enter the time in 24 hour format and press on/off to finish.

Programming

To clear all the existing programming and restore factory set up. Set switch to CLEAR and power on, wait until the LED starts to flicker and then set switch back to HOLD.

You can now programme your system using the programming guide. Please e-mail me if you need one or you need further assistance. E mail Dennis Hanna by clicking here.
